    2012 Nissan Frontier 4X4 PRO4

The 2012 Nissan Frontier 4X4 PRO4X has an attitude problem. That’s right. If it could talk it would probably sound like this, “Being a mid-size 4-wheel drive truck isn’t all that bad. I can go off-road where other full size trucks fear to go. Adventure is my middle name. I have lots of spacious room inside my king or crew cab for all your toys, tools, and friends. My boxed ladder frame with advanced off-road technology yells out, “Bring it on!” I’m agile and capable to get down outback with the Smiths or go uptown with the Jones’. I have enough power to pull up to 6,500 pounds with 261 horsepower; my powerful V6 is in a class of its own. You think I can’t do it? Don’t tell me no!”

Trucks can’t talk, but if they could the 2012 Nissan Frontier 4X4 PRO4X would have a lot to say beginning with its powerful engine. The 2012 Nissan Frontier 4X PRO4X comes with a VQ4-DE 4.0-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine with 261 horsepower @ 5,600 rpm and 281 lb-ft of torque @ 4,000 rpm. It can be driven on the highway or off-road. The electronic locking rear differential, Bilstein® off-road performance shocks, 4-wheel Active Brake Limited Slip (ABSL), skid plates, 265/75R16 GFGoodrich® Rugged Trail T/A® tires, 16’ 6-spoke alloy wheels and halogen fog lights just beg the owner to go where the big full-size trucks can’t go.

Three features of the 2012 Nissan Frontier 4X4 PRO4X that makes this a great off-road vehicle: The electronic locking rear differential in the 2012 Nissan Frontier 4X4 PRO4X can be turned on with a flip of the switch. This off-road feature delivers equal power to both rear wheels allowing for superb traction and keeps the truck moving forward. Anytime it’s on the electronic locking rear differential works in conjunction with the 4-wheel Active Brake Limited Slip. This gives you power to move forward while at the same time assist with you steering. What’s Hill Start Assist? Hill Start Assist prevents rolling backwards when starting from a stop on an incline. It applies the brakes for a few moments giving you more than enough time to switch your foot from the brake pedal to the accelerator. What’s Hill Descent Control? Hill descent control automatically adjusts your speed going downhill along with brake pressure to keep the vehicle under control in all navigating situations.
