Some lures grab your attention, as to say, why didn’t I think of that?  D.O.A. Lures has does just that with fish-attracting heads for soft plastic baits.  The D.O.A. Chug Head and Hot Head do just that with lures.  They are not really lures but instead lure enhancers; something that attaches on a lure to boost the movement, making it more lifelike and attracting predators. 

The D.O.A. Chug Head and Hot Head were designed to be added to your favorite soft plastic lure to heighten the action and appearance.  It works by sliding the Chug Head or Hot Head on to the end of the soft plastic lure, inserting a wide gap hook into the Chug Head or Hot Head and lure to the bend of the hook, push the hook at a hard 90-degree angle down so the point exits both the Chug Head or Hot Head and lure, push the hook into the Chug Head or Hot Head until you get to the neck of the hook, twist the hook 180-degrees, and insert the hook Texas rig style in the body of you soft plastic bait.  The Hot Head works only one way; however, the Chug Head can be rigged as a walking popper or diver.  This means you can have the thrill of a topwater lure or slow sinking bait to fall in the strike zone where predators lay waiting.

The D.O.A. Pinch Weights is another product made to enhance lures you are fishing with.  The Pinch Weights are made from soft lead and allows the angler to attach or pinch it to the hook.  The weight pinched to fishing hooks allows anglers to make longer casts, to change the bait to suspend, or sink slowly horizontally to the bottom; in addition to being reusable, weedless, and can be added to almost any offset hook.   D.O.A. Pinch Weights come in 1/8-ounce, 1/4-ounce, or the weight can be made lighter by bending it at one of the cut-outs and breaking it off at the bend.

Sometimes lures just need a little enhancement to get fish to bite.  Fish attracting heads for soft plastic lure can do just that.  For anglers, it’s a great and for fish, it can equal DOA in the cooler.
