Hold it one second, I am tired of throwing away my soft plastic lures after only using them to catch two or three fish because the hook will no longer stay in place. I mean there has to be a way to keep “casualties by fish” to a minimum. The battle lines have been drawn.
In the past, anglers had only one type of fishing line to select when deciding on fishing line. It was monofilament, and every fishing line company had different styles to choose from. All you had to choose from was extra tuff line for flipping or areas where it was an abrasive environment, or a soft or supple fishing line for spinning reels in areas of open water with little or no snags.
While countless new products in the fishing world turn out to be rubbish. One product is relatively new and is proving to be beneficial for anglers. Braid fishing line has definitely found its niche in the fishing line department. Just take a quick glance in any sporting goods store or in fishing tackle retailer magazine, and you will find scores of packaged braid fishing line to select from.
For anglers, it's all about catching fish; regardless if bass are shallow or deep, around cover, suspended, or tight to structure. Only a few lures can be fished in all though situations, such as, a Texas rigged worm or shaky head jig; however, you can now add the Wacky Jig Head to the list.
