    FloatEyes

It all started back in 1985 when the first original FloatEyes were built. Not because the inventor wanted to build a product to sell thousands of and get rich, but to solve a problem. Earlier, the inventor had lost his eyewear into a tank of water at a water treatment facility.

FLW Co-angler Frank Divis Sr. Wears Typhoon Polarized Prescription Sunglasses

    Author: Brad Wiegmann

FLW Tour Co-angler and Typhoon Pro Staffer Frank Divis Sr.

Any angler fishing out of the back deck as a co-angler in FLW Tour events means looking at things a little differently. Unlike the pro in the front deck, the co-angler is restrained to only fishing from the middle section of the boat to the back end. No first cast at a brush pile, clump of grass, or bass holding cover. Only the leftovers that have been picked clean by the pro, but that being noted some co-anglers make the best of the situation and excel at catching bass behind the pros consistently. One of these co-anglers is Frank Divis Sr. from Fayetteville, Arkansas.

    ONOS Timbalier - Judy Wiegmann

It doesn’t happen often, but when it does the results are either received positive or negative. Having a pair of sunglasses that can be worn by either sex is risky business. If they are too feminine no man will wear them and to manly that no female will wear them.

Typhoon Optics Mariner II on writer/fishing guide Brad Wiegmann

Warning: age related eye changes are perfectly normal and in general don’t signify any kind of disease process. Compensation for these changes can be as simple as getting a pair of optical enhanced eyewear.  As we progress through life everyone goes through a series of changes physically. We may even get over the milestone of turning 40. For anglers like myself, nothing is more important than eyesight, but recently I have noticed that it’s more and more difficult to focus on objects up close. To compensate, I have been wearing reading glasses and that’s okay, but out on the water fishing I needed something else to wear.
