I love my GoPro HD HERO camera. It can go anywhere to take professional grade photos and HD videos, but I was lacking a way of transporting it. I needed a case that was compact yet large enough to carry the GoPro HD HERO camera and GoPro camera accessories or extra mounts; in addition to protecting against impact, vibration, and shock. One case that can provide all the protection and space you need is the Pelican 1120.
The Pelican 1120 (www.pelican.com) case is unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dustproof, chemical resistant, corrosion proof, and provides complete protection for the GoPro HD HERO camera. It’s made from high impact structural copolymers that are super strong and durable. A polymer o-ring in the lid and ABS latches makes a watertight seal that is both durable and strong. The o-ring material is also resistant to ozone, weathering, and aging. It can withstand temperatures from -40°C (10°.F) to +98.9° (+210°F). Another feature of the Pelican 1120 case is the Purge Valve or Pressure Equalization Valve. The valve consists of a small hole covered by a thin membrane Gore-Tex®. This allows the case to breathe without letting water, dust or dirt enter the case. The Pelican 1120 is NATO codified, tested to the MIL C-4150J (Military Standard), IP-67 (Ingress Protection), and ATA (Air Transportation Association) standards.
Facts you need to know about Pelican cases:

1.Exercise caution in high humidity climates. We recommend the regular use of silica-gel moisture absorbing packets which are available through the manufacturer (CAT. #1500D). These packets may be reused over again many times by drying out in oven.
2.O-Ring Seal: To insure watertight seal, it is important that the o-ring groove in the bottom and lid be checked on a regular basis for foreign debris such as sand, twigs, paper, etc. The o-ring itself must be free of cuts, abrasions, and foreign objects to insure proper seal.
3.Cleansing Instructions: Most scuffs and stains can be removed quickly with household cleaner and a soft sponge. Do not use any type of brush that will scratch the surface. An occasional application of “Armor All) or similar protectant will keep your Pelican Case looking new.
4.Foam: Should you mistakenly pluck out too many rows of foam cubes, they may be replaced by gluing them back into place with clear rubber base cement or contact spray adhesive. Follow gluing instructions.
5.Do not store any Pelican Case in car trunk or enclosed areas during warm, sunny months in which elevated temperatures may occur. Do not place or store in close proximity to any type of heater, light or high heat producing machine or appliance. To do so voids guarantee and can cause severe damage to the case and its contents.
The Pelican 1120 are available with Pick ‘N Pluck™ hi-density foam. The top layer on the lid is made from convoluted foam, center layer is the exclusive Pick ‘N Pluck, and bottom layer is a 1” uncut liner. Pick ‘N Pluck is a pre-cut grid of foam that can be shaped into any form allowing you to customize the interior by ½-inch cubes. It is recommended to space out all the equipment leaving suitable room between them. Pelican suggest that you use toothpicks to mark the plug to be removed and pull it out in one section. The Pelican 1120 case specifications for interior dimensions are 7.25” x 4.75” x 3.06 and exterior dimensions 8.12” x 6.56” x 3.56”. The case is available in black, yellow, desert fan, silver, orange, OD green, blue, and comes with the Pelican Lifetime Guarantee of Excellence. Pelican Products, Inc. guarantees its products for a lifetime against breakage or defects in workmanship. Pelican injection molded cases are guaranteed to be watertight to a depth of 3.3 feet for 30 minutes if properly closed with undamaged o-ring in place unless otherwise stated. For additional information on the Pelican Lifetime Guarantee of Excellence warranty go to www.pelican.com.
Protecting a GoPro HD HERO camera is as important as protecting an expensive digital SLR camera. The Pelican 1120 also makes it easier to keep track of the GoPro HD HERO camera, additional mounts, and accessories.
