Snosuit Gauntlet Gloves: Even Southern Anglers Need Gloves

    Author: Brad Wiegmann |

Snosuit Gauntlet Gloves perfect for fishing. It was your typical morning out bass fishing south of the Mason-Dixon Line.  Chilly, 30-degrees when I awoke; although, the weather man promised that it would be in the fifties by late afternoon.  Unfortunately, my first stop was a twenty minute drive away from the ramp down the lake.  I personally was not looking forward to it.  Like other bass anglers, I had found out a long time ago that wearing a motorcycle helmet kept my head warm and freezing, cold wind off my face.  If you have ever traveled south fishing in the winter, you may have experience freezing fog.  Of course, this morning turned out to be one of those days with icy temperatures and freezing fog.  No pair of jersey or inexpensive gloves will stay dry or keep your hands from freezing. A southern bass angler needs gloves that are flexible, yet keep their hands warm.  Thankfully, today and till late spring I will be wearing the Snosuit Gauntlet Gloves; the new high technologically advanced glove, loaded with features that make driving down the lake at 60-plus mph possible without having to warm my hands up before I can begin to cast.  Move over, jersey and inexpensive gloves, there is a new glove in town.

While actually the number of times anglers south of the Mason-Dixon Line wear gloves is somewhat less than northern anglers; keeping your hands warm is no laughing matter when you are tournament bass fishing.  Taking time out to warm your hands up before you can cast means spending precious time that you could be casting and catching fish, in addition to health considerations like frostbite.  The new Snosuit Gauntlet Glove (www.snosuit.com) is one of the warmest, most durable, and comfortable fitting glove I have ever worn.

The Snosuit Gauntlet Glove brings new features and technology to gloves including: goatskin leather that is soft and extremely durable, nose wipe area made with non-abrasive material, pre-curved finger ergonomic comfort and superior motion, adjustable strap and bungee cord to lock out wind, snow, or rain, SnoCore Insulation, and SnoShell Technology.

                               Snosuit Gauntlet Gloves

SnoCore is a micro fiber thermal insulation made to be waterproof, windproof and with a breathable membrane.  Each glove has 150 grams in the palm area and 300 grams on the backside.  It has several lays consisting of: a layer that that reflects and reuses your own body’s radiant heat, a layer that tarps warm air in pockets between synthetic fibers, and the last layer that lets body moisture escape to keep an anglers skin dry.

SnoShell is the outer shell made to be waterproof, windproof, and with a breathable membrane.  A part of the shell is made from DuPont Teflon treated fabric that provides protection against oil and water based liquids without decreasing its feel and breathability.  The out shell is made from 660 Denier Taslan Nylon that provides long-lasting durability without losing its flexibility and 1000 Denier Ballistic Nylon that is an extra tough fabric situated in the areas of motion and flexing.

    Snosuit Gauntlet Gloves are WATERPROOF!

For anglers fishing south of the Mason-Dixon Line, its fishing 7/24 year round whether or not its catching monster smallmouth with hair jigs on Dale Hollow Reservoir in Tennessee or Jerking Rogues for giant spotted bass on Table Rock Lake in Missouri.  It takes concentration and warm hands to feel the bite; only one glove is up to the task.  The Snosuit Gauntlet Glove…move over jersey gloves there is a new glove in town.
