    MOTORMATE Outboard Motor Locking System

    Author: Brad Wiegmann
Motormate Locking SystemThink about this for a second. Your outboard motor was built in 2011, rides on the transom of your 2011 boat and trailer and you want to protect it with something designed for outboards and boats when the first bass boats were being built way back then? That really doesn’t make any sense. Back then the now obsolete transom saver was good enough to work, but that was before outboard engines had power “tilt and trim”. So connecting your engine to the trailer was sufficient to keep the engine from bouncing or swinging back and forth going down the road; however, anyone connecting their transom saver from the trailer to the engine was causing undue stress especially when the trailer hit a bump in the road. That’s why the outdated transom saver break or bends, but now anglers have an option instead of using an obsolete transom saver. The MOTORMATE outboard motor locking system was designed to protect any outboard engine with power “tilt and trim”.

Cover-Up You’re Lures with the American Freedom Series

    Author: Brad Wiegmann

Crankbait Cover-Ups American Freedom SeriesI guess that I am feeling patriotic with the 4th of July just getting over and all the fireworks exploding around me. I love fireworks. It’s exciting and you never know for sure what you are going to see after the bang. That’s just like when you lay your fishing rods altogether on the deck of your boat or in the passenger side of the car and go for a ride. You never know which one is going to come undone and tangle with all the other ones. One way to avoid the tangle mess is to cover up your lures with the new red, white, and blue American Freedom Series Crankbait Cover-Ups. It wraps around your rod and lure and keeps them from tangling while sporting a fashionable patriotic red, white, and blue trim.

Under Water Photos or Videos with GoPro HD HERO

    Author: Brad Wiegmann

Under water photo with GoPro HD HERO cameraEver wish you could take your camera or video recorder under water as you dive or snorkel deep under the water’s surface. It seems like the logical place to take photos. There is so much going on beyond the surface. While ultra-clear lakes offer divers or snorkelers an opportunity to record their mysteries and bountiful freshwater fish; coastal and tropical areas offer vast areas of coral reefs and colorful saltwater fish to photo and record. In the past taking a camera or video recorder would be out of the question. There just wasn’t one that could take the abuse or pressure as divers plunged deep under the surface. That’s all history now with the new GoPro HD HERO camera.

    Author: Brad Wiegmann

Pelican 1120 Waterproof Protector CaseI love my GoPro HD HERO camera. It can go anywhere to take professional grade photos and HD videos, but I was lacking a way of transporting it. One case that can provide all the protection and space you need is the Pelican 1120.

RPM Outdoor Sports One Handed Telescoping Landing Net

    Author: Brad Wiegmann

IlumiNet by RPM Outdoor SportsIt sounds easy enough. Design and build a premium landing net. One that can stand up to neglect and abuse an angler will put it through in a boat or up on shore. It has to be able to endure harsh saltwater without corroding, yet Lightweight enough for freshwater applications; in addition to extending out 10 feet using one hand. In reality, most landing nets have to compromise giving up one or more features to get the other, but professional anglers, serious weekend anglers, and even recreational anglers don’t want to miss landing a fish just because of an inferior landing net. So when the R&D engineer and co-owner of RPM Outdoor Sports, Jerry Paller, designed and built the new RPM Outdoor Sports IlumiNet landing net all of the features of a premium landing net were included.

    Odor-Off Hand Soap for Anglers

    Author: Brad Wiegmann

Odor-Off hand soapDo you need to get the smell of fish off your hands?  I know you have tried everything to remove the odor from your hands. Nothing seems to eliminate the smell. Some hand soaps made to eliminate the fishy smell just mask it while others just are really fragrance in a bottle that can be more offensive than the fish smell it’s self. To really get your hands free from that fishy smell it requires the hand soap to actively attack the smell. Odor-Off hand soap does just that. It works by a chemical reaction without relying on a fragrance to mask the fish odor.

    Thee Fisherman’s Soap

    Author: Brad Wiegmann

Thee Fisherman's Soap“OMG do you stink! Ever think of taking a shower?” was the first words out of my fishing buddy’s mouth as I jumped out of my truck. “What can I say? It was a long night of catfishing and stink bait doesn’t exactly smell like perfume; then I had to clean them before heading home,” I replied. I guess I should explain that his house is in between the fish cleaning station and the shower at my house, when you catch them good, you just have to stop and brag some before going home.
