    David Gray looks on as George Toalson lands a bass on his new Carbon X C5 fishing rodGrand Lake O’ the Cherokees just like Carbon X Rods is getting a lot of attention lately? Grand Lake because the 2013 Bassmaster Classic Championship is going to be held there. Carbon X Rods because more and more professional anglers are fishing with them. So putting them together with George Toalson from Gene Larew Lures seemed to be the logical thing to do. The result was interesting and gives some insight into what anglers  and where the 2013 Bassmaster Classic is going to be won.

    It could have been easier. I was up on Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees in Oklahoma with David Gray, president of Carbon X Rods and Gene Toalson of Gene Larew lures. Gray is the president of Carbon X Rods. Toalson is a former partner in Gene Larew lures who now oversees the manufacturing and product development of Gene Larew Lures. The plan was to take photos of Toalson holding up a big bass with his newly acquired Carbon X C5 Rod.
