    Origin and Technology of HydroWave

HydroWave Advancements in electronic technology continue to amaze professional and novice anglers. You can include the HydroWave in that select group of electronic devices. It’s unique and innovative sound technology has blended aquatic biology with electronic engineering to produce the HydroWave.

Before tournament angler, creator and founder of HydroWave, Gene Eisenmann, developed the HydroWave there wasn’t an electronic device that created sound to stimulate fish in production. The concept of producing sounds to arouse fish only existed in lures and one sound producing device that's no longer being produced.

Channel swings in reservoirs and rivers are productive locations when fishing and catching fish. Similar to humps and road beds, an angler can find them two ways on a Lowrance HDS unit. One way to locate a channel swing is searching the mapping on the Lowrance HDS GPS unit before launching the boat. Most mapping programs will indicate where the channel swings are located. The other way is to have the Lowrance HDS unit in split screen watching for channel swings as you fish.

Boat dock cables are probably one of the most under rated, under fished piece of cover on any reservoir or river. That’s strange because almost every one of them has two of them keeping them in place and bass love to suspend and spawn around boat dock cables. Finding productive cables that hold bass is as easy as turning on your Lowrance StructureScan and looking at the two powerful sonar views: Sidescan and Downscan.

Road beds are productive locations for finding and catching all species of game fish. Similar to humps, there are two ways to locate and find road beds on Lowrance HDS units with a mapping chip. One way is to search the mapping on the GPS unit for road beds before getting up on plane.  Most will be indicated by a dashing line. The other way is to run the unit in split screen watching for road beds to show up on the GPS screen on the unit.
