Bass Catching Morphing YUM F2 Mighty Bug

In the beginning of bass fishing times, anglers had hundreds of plastic worms to pick from. Every company was pouring them. Some were “jelly”; another was the original plastic worm while others had more garlic on them than bread served with spaghetti. From worms anglers moved on to soft plastic realistic crawfish shaped baits. They were hot and caught tons of bass, but after while bass started figuring out that those salt impregnated soft plastic crawfish had hooks in them. It was around that time the revolutionary traditional creature bait was created. Creature baits were big enough to catch monster bass, but could be made in a downsized version for when fishing conditions turned awful. Most of the creature baits lack originality; they are just copies of the first one. Now there are creature baits and then there’s the bass catching morphing YUM F2 Mighty Bug. The new YUM F2 Mighty Bug has appendages and a multi-segmented body that attracts bass; in addition to having F2 fish attractant infused within the body.
The YUM F2 Mighty Bug (www.lurenet.com) features six lifelike appendages connected to a tri-segmented flexible body. Four of the appendages are little legs that undulate with the slightest movement. It gives the appearance that the Mighty Bug is trying to either swim or crawl away from danger. The other two appendages are claw imitating extremities. Put it all together, the Mighty Bug combines every fish attracting attribute into one lure; however, bass can be extremely selective. So, the YUM F2 Mighty Bug comes in three different sizes 3-inches, 3.75-inches, and the massive 4.5-inches long and in a number of fish catching colors.
How an angler fishes with the YUM F2 Mighty Bug is up to them. Popular rigs for fishing the YUM F2 Might Bug include Texas and Carolina rig. They can be casted, flipped, pitched, dragged and so much more. Probably the crazy way is to wacky rig it. Insane you think? Who would wacky rig a creature bait? Any angler wanting to catch a bass would! The best time to catch a wacky rigged YUM F2 Mighty Bug is when a bass is on the bed. All you have to do is run a Daiichi octopus bait hook (www.ttiblakemore.com) through the back of an un-weighted YUM F2 Mighty Bug. Test the bait and make sure it falls horizontally through the water column if it doesn’t reposition the hook until it does. Once it falls horizontally cast it into the center of the bed. Aggressive bass will often attack it while the bait falls towards the bed. If the bass moves away or seems indifferent just let it sit there without moving it. Any current will move the legs making it look like its crawling around the bed and a bass cannot withstand attacking.
While the YUM F2 Mighty Bug can be fished without making any changes to the body or appendages, some anglers only fish with it after removing appendages or body sections. The head section can be removed to give the YUM F2 Mighty Bug a more crawfish looking appearance or the four legs can be removed to create one big crawfish; the head and body section can be removed so it can be used as a trailer on a jig; the two crawl like appendages can be removed to make a unique salamander bait. Every time an appendage or body section is removed the YUM F2 Mighty Bug begins morphing into another bass catching creature bait.
