Here’s a little secret that will increase the number of fish you catch. Get your spoons custom hand painted and you will catch more fish. It doesn’t matter if you are fishing for walleye, lake trout, Atlantic salmon, sockeye, perch, Chinook, largemouth, smallmouth, white bass, hybrid bass, or stripers. Using custom hand painted spoons and blades that match the forage base will entice fish to bite in most situations or having the right custom painted pattern will result in hooking up with that trophy fish of a lifetime. Of course you can get lures individually hand painted after you purchase them, but you have to wait to get them and then send them off. That’s time consuming and not what an angler wants. One lure company that offers custom hand painted spoons and blades is Warrior Lures.

Although Warrior Lures (www.warriorlures.com) has numerous color patterns in their spoons and blades, they still offer to individually hand paint any of the spoons that they produce. If that doesn’t get you excited then the cost for having your Warrior Lures hand painted will blow your mind. It’s free. That’s not a misprint. You can get your Warrior Lures hand painted for free as long as you order at least six of your custom patterns in the same size and spoon or blade type. Mike Steffes, President of Warrior Lures, can reproduce any color combination an angler wants. “Every angler knows that individually hand painted lures catch more fish; they represent either the forage base or color pattern that entices fish to strike them,” explained Steffes. Although tournament anglers request many of the spoons that Warrior Lures sells, the weekend warrior or recreational angler also demand the hand painted spoons. “It doesn’t matter what kind of angler you are. Your time is precious on the water so you want to catch fish while you are out there fishing. That’s probably why we sell so many individually hand painted lures because anglers like reeling in and catching fish; hand painted lures just catch more fish,” said Steffes.

Warrior Lures custom hand painted spoonsWarrior Lures will custom paint any of the following spoon or blade blanks: Colorado blades, Willow leaf blades, Little Warrior, Flutter Spoons, Standard Spoons, and Magnum Fishing Spoon. “The process of getting your spoon or blade custom hand painted is simple. All you do is provide us with a detailed description, sample, or artwork for your pattern. Once we get that we will contact you and let you know how long it’s going to take then we will start painting your lure. The process of painting them and applying the clear coat takes some time, but it’s worth it to get just what color pattern you want and catches fish,” said Steffes. Steffes did note that some die-cuts meaning decals are not available in the smaller size products, but he will let you know that when you order your lures.

Does lure color patterns really make a difference? It does when it comes to catching fish consistently. Certain color patterns on spoons or blades will catch fish up in the Great Lakes, but are often neglected by fish in the Southern states. It’s almost impossible for one lure company to paint every color pattern or one that works every species of fish that swims. Now you know the little secret to catching more fish. Simply get your spoons or blades custom hand painted.Warrior Lures custom hand painted spoons
