This maybe one of the craziest topwater lures ever designed in the history of fishing lures. The Crazy Crawler by Heddon looks like something getting ready to transform from a bumblebee to a bird ready to takeoff. The Crazy Crawler made by Heddon was first introduced back in 1940. It was a takeoff of the Fred Arbogast Jitterbug. It’s unique shape and metal wings are a throwback to the earlier days of bass fishing when many of the unorthodox topwater lures were manufactured. “Yes sir bartender, I’m not as drunk as you look,” I continued, “hand me another Coors Light.” I guess the bartender didn’t hear me. “Sir, can I have another Coors Light Please?” My glazed over eyes just couldn’t focus through the thick fog. I knew he could see me, but still no effort in which to serve me another libration. “Sir, just one more Coors Light before I hit the road,” I pleaded, but to no avail. He wasn’t making any movement towards getting me my Coors Light. “Okay, I will get it myself. Where is your tackle box?” I said. One of the best crappie fishing lakes happens to be located in Oklahoma. Lake Eufaula is renowned for having plenty of big slab crappie that an angler can catch year round.
