Accessories Make NuCanoe a Unique Watercraft

If you have never seen a NuCanoe it can be described as a cross between a sit-on-top kayak and canoe. The benefits of having a mix between the 2 watercrafts are numerous. Anglers would argue that Nucanoe’s wide open deck makes it easy to get into or its wide V-shaped hull that reduces drag and increases hull speed and maneuverability are its great attributes. I would respectfully have to disagree; of course since the NuCanoe has a number of other built-in features that anyone paddling the NuCanoe would appreciate. I think that it’s all the accessories that can be added to the NuCanoe making it the most versatile watercraft available.

    Preparing to go kayak fishing
The list of activities you can do with a NuCanoe would begin with fishing, hunting, rowing, paddling, and diving just to name a few. Its versatility comes from all of the accessories you can add on to the basic hull depending on the activity you plan to engage in. No matter what watercraft you paddle how comfortable the seat is makes all the difference. No angler, hunter, or paddler wants to sit on a hard seat for too long. NuCanoe (www.nucanoe.com) has a wide selection of seats to choose from when outfitting the NuCanoe. The options include a Captain’s Seat, Sport Seat, Expedition Seat, Softpad Seat, Molded Seat, and Folding Swivel Seat. Each style seat has its advantages. The 18-inch Captain’s Seat has a comfortable back support and sculpted padding in key areas. It also has a useful day pack built-in to the back to store your valuables in. A Sport Seat has a 12.5-inch padded seatback with a large bottom cushion; in addition to having a rear pack. The Expedition Seat has less padding than the other seats, but is contoured to fit a person’s body shape. This seat is commonly used for recreation, paddling, and fishing. The Softpad and Molded Seats are for individuals who are getting in and out of the water or just paddling around. The Molded Seat comes with 2 thumbscrews and used when having 3 passengers. For anglers, the Folding Seat is extremely popular. This seat is commonly referred to as a fishing chair. It can swivel 360 degrees so an angler can always face the action. This hard folding seat has soft cushions on both bottom and back for comfort. Anyone purchasing a Folding Seat should also get the Swivel Seat Mount to attach the Folding Seat to the NuCanoe deck.

    RAM Rod Holder with Mount
Another popular accessory is the Sport Box. The NuCanoe Sport Box fits in the bow of the bow or stern of the NuCanoe. It can be used as a live well, storage box, beverage cooler, or whatever you want it to hold. Next accessory anglers will find handy is the Modular Multi Mount. The Modular Multi Mount fits in any of the seat inserts and can be used to mount sonar/GPS units, rod holders, VHS radio, or other gear. For anyone paddling a NuCanoe and wants to ensure to keep the water at bay the Bow Water Shield reduces water from coming over the gunwale. This accessory can also be used to keep water out when floating down streams or paddling in rough water.

Anglers will be excited to know that there are a number of different rod holders that can be easily added to the NuCanoe. RAM Rod Holders and mount kits are available that can hold a RAM Fly Rod Holder or a RAM Rod Holder. A Base Kit for Scotty Rod Holders is also available. Anglers will also find the Trolling accessories like a U-Joint Tiller Extension, Battery Box with strap, and a Battery Box Strap necessary when installing a trolling motor. Other accessories an angler may want to install on their NuCanoe is a Gunwale Paddle/Rod Holder, a Stern Anchor System, or a Trolley Anchor System. On the other hand, hunters may want to get the Duck Blind Cover and Camo Seat for hunting out of the NuCanoe.
No matter if you are fishing, hunting, or just paddling around you will need an oar or a paddle. The NuCanoe can be rigged with oars if the individual wants them. Outriggers with Oar Locks can be installed and used with Oars with Oar Collars. Paddlers that prefer a traditional paddle can select one of the Wave Paddles manufactured by Cannon Paddles. A wide selection of these paddles can be found under accessories on the NuCanoe websiteFolding Swivel Seats.

So what are you going to do if you get a NuCanoe? Go fishing, hunting, rowing, or just paddle around? It’s a hard decision. The NuCanoe can do it all. It’s a unique watercraft.   Plus you can add any of the accessories to personalize a NuCanoe to fit your needs.
