The Resort and Club at Little Harbor a Tampa Bay Treasure

Moonlight over the Harborside Resort Condominium at Little Harbor

The view was breathtaking from the 5th floor balcony.  The sun was setting and rays of light were fading as a rainbow of red, purple, and orange beams bouncing off the Gulf emerald-green waters.  Below, the boats waved gently back and forth in the cool breeze.  The Village Marina at Little Harbor was filling up with boats.  The well protected harbor across the bay from St. Petersburg serves as a docking marina year round, renting slips for transit boaters or guests of the Resort at Little Harbor who brings their boat down during their stay; it’s open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week.  These slips have all the amenities any boater would need including power, water, high speed internet, phone service, and cable TV.  With over 90 fixed Brazilian Ipe wooden docks that can fit up to 60-foot boats.  Finding the Village Marina at The Resort and Club at Little Harbor is easy since its right next to the resorts bayside condominiumand located off I-75 at the Ruskin exit.

Brad Wiegmann holding up a Bonnethead Shark with Captain Art Paiva of SnookyBearCharters.comThe sunset was a perfect setting to the end of the day.  I had been out shark fishing earlier during the day with sunset view of Village MarinaCaptain Art Paiva aka Snooky Bear (www.snookybearcharters.com).  One of the resorts and resident expert fishing guides who operates out of The Village Marina.  After having a successful day battling with Bonnethead Sharks in Tampa Bay near Apollo Beach it was time to relax.  Before I could go explore the rest of The Resort and Club at Little Harbor, it was time for a shave and shower.  The Haborside Resort Condominium had all the amenities anyone could possibly need to stay comfortable, no matter how long their stay.Captain Art Paiva aka Snooky Bear

Now, a guest could easily drive to the city of Tampa to eat out, but they would be cheating themselves out of a gorgeous sunset and delicious fresh seafood meal at the waterfront Sunset Grill Restaurant along with a walk down the half-mile secluded beach, or down the 250-foot fishing pier.  After it got dark, the Tiki Bar came alive with music, dancing, and laughter.  What an end to a perfect day out fishing.  With the moon rising it was off to the Jacuzzi to relax. I pass by the fitness center on the way there.  I decided to skip going in.  I already had my workout in battling the sharks with Captain Paiva.  Unfortunately, every fishing trip has to end.  In the morning, I left out passing by the outdoor heated pool, tennis courts, shuffleboard court, horseshoe pit, and basketball court; so much more I could have done if only I had more time.  Maybe next time I am down.  I call next game.
