How to Hand Pour Soft Plastics DVD by LureCraft Industries
Ever lure wise angler knows all about handcrafted balsa wood crankbaits and how they catch more fish than other crankbaits, but what about hand poured soft plastic lures? Do you know how to hand pour your own soft plastic lures or even know where to purchase supplies to make your own soft plastic lures? LureCraft Industries, one of the biggest retailers of materials for hand pouring and building your own hand crafted lures has a DVD titled How to Hand Pour Soft Plastics.
In the DVD, Shawn Straley, co-owner of LureCraft Industries (http://www.lurecraft.com/), explains how to pour your own soft plastic baits using a hot plate, Lee Production Pot designed for hand pouring soft plastics, and a microwave. Straley also goes into detail on what grades of plastics are used to pour soft plastic baits, how to color baits, how to make tube baits and round jerk worms; in addition to explaining how to make two tone baits and pouring mold heads into a lure by using a wire rig to hold it in place.

As covered in the DVD, anyone melting hot plastic should be extremely careful and wear safety gear. Hot plastic is a volatile product and can be dangerous if not handled correctly. When done correctly, hand pouring your own soft plastic baits can be extremely rewarding.
