It’s the ultimate Kayak fishing DVD.  You almost feel like you are with Kevin Whitley aka Kayak Kevin inside his kayak as he and his crew challenge huge waves or tidal currents while battling Chesapeake Bay trophy size fish.  Well-known for its fisheries, Chesapeake Bay proves to be breathtaking one moment and treacherous the next; however, for kayak anglers it’s about getting out and challenging the environment to catch trophy size fish.

The DVD follows Whitley and his crew as they kayak fish for Bull Red Fish, Stripers, Sheepshead, Sea Bass, Spade Fish, Black Drum, Trigger Fish, and Tautog in Chesapeake Bay.  Locations on the lower Chesapeake Bay that they fish include the concrete ships, Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, Smith Island Inlet Shoals, and Kiptopeake State Park. The best part about the entire DVD is it’s filmed from kayaks.  Either a bow or stern mounted camera on Whitley’s kayak, or members of his crew in other kayaks; in addition to underwater filming of fish striking baits and being caught.  It’s all live action; no staged performance of catching fish.  You can almost feel the spray of water across your face as Whitley battle a number of bull Redfish or the drag ripping when a giant striper strikes an eel.  If you do any fishing from a kayak, fresh or saltwater, this is one DVD you got to have.
