Classic Patterns Series 3, Volume 2: 3 Levels of Power featuring Edwin Evers
Professional angler Edwin Evers takes the challenge of fishing three bodies of water in Oklahoma under a number of different conditions. Classic Patterns: 3 Levels of Power (http://www.lurenet.com/) is divided into 3 sections: Balsa Bassin’, Oologah Bushes, and Deep Crankin. In each section, Evers shows anglers how to locate and pattern bass on unfamiliar lakes.
In Balsa Bassin’, Evers fishes Lake Bluestem in Oklahoma. Evers faces falling water levels and off color water clarity. Faced with these conditions, Evers picks up a Bomber Balsa B crankbait for shallow water lay downs. In Oologah Bushes, Evers picks up his flipping stick and pitches to flood shoreline bushes. The northeast Oklahoma reservoir has miles of flooded cover to pick from due to usual summertime high water. In a short time, Evers figures out key cover to fish and location where bass are located. In Deep Crankin, Evers fishes on Grand Lake in Oklahoma. Its summertime and Evers has reach into his tackle box and pulled out a deep diving crankbait to fish deep ledges along with brush piles. Not only does Evers show how to fish deep crankbaits, but how to find productive ledges and brush piles.
