Catch more fish.  That’s all I want to do when it comes to fishing.  It doesn’t matter if I am fishing for white bass, stripers, largemouth bass, stream trout, or anything with fins.  I want to catch more fish.  Every fishing trip, I plan out a strategy for success and change if I have to according to how fish are behaving.  If I am fishing for a species that I have limited experience of catching, I do some research and find out where they will be located and how to fish for them to be successful.  One of the best resources that I have found is Catch More Fish: Finding Fishing Success Anywhere, Anytime by Dick Sternberg.  It explains information on how to plan a successful fishing trip with easy to understand color photos and knowledgeable content.

The book Catch More Fish: Finding Fishing Success Anywhere, Anytime by Dick Sternberg (Cardinal Publishers Group, www.cardinalpub.com) covers the following topics: understanding freshwater game fish, fishing waters, fishing equipment, fishing skills, and fishing techniques.  Each of these topics goes in-depth on how to be a more successful angler when fishing.  The book goes into detail on specific techniques for catching catfish, sunfish, crappie, yellow perch, northern pike, muskellunge, walleye, sauger, stream trout, lake trout, salmon, largemouth, smallmouth, white, and striped bass.  The book is loaded with page after page of colored photos. Page 132 even has a photo of me releasing a giant striper I caught.
