Rick Huckstepp's How to Undertand Your Depth Sounder

It’s not your normal DVD about how to read your sonar unit that focuses on a certain brand or model sonar unit.  Rick Huckstepp’s How to Understand Your Depth Sounder DVD focus is on how to read the screen on you sonar unit or depth sounder as Huckstepp refers to it.  Another thing you will notice about this DVD is the Australia setting and Huckstepp’s Australia accent.  The DVD covers both saltwater and freshwater angling situations.

Rick Huckstepp’s How to Understand Your Depth Sounder DVD (Cardinal Publishers Group, www.cardinalpub.com) covers the following topics: differentiating between weed & sand, how to adjust sensitivity, using auto sensitivity, color and grey line-determining hard from soft bottom and fish from structure, fishing in the center of the beam, lopsided fish arches & small readings, the importance of a fast chart speed, turbulence, fish ID versus RAW sonar, what frequency transducer to use, and Huckstepp’s website (www.huckfish.com.au) and contact information.

Huckstepp’s focus in this DVD is on reading your screen and what images are appearing on the units screen, no matter if you are fishing reefs, wrecks, ledges, or deep structure on your favorite body of water in North America or the waters around the land down under.
