Top-Guide Productions: Fishing for Trophy German Brown Trout on Arkansas’ White River

    Author: Brad Wiegmann

Fishing for Trophy German Brown TroutI was trout fishing the other day with White River trout fishing guide Nathan Lackey and he mentioned that his dad, Troy Lackey and another White River fishing guide David Capps had made a tape of how to catch trophy German Brown trout.  “Big trophy sized German Brown trout?” I asked.  “Yep, they sell them up in the gift shop at Gaston’s Resort,” Nathan continue, “it tells all about catching trophy German Brown trout; my dad and David are catching them right there behind that island.”  Nathan continues to point out places his dad had caught big German Brown trout.  “Right there is where he caught the world record Brown trout back in 1972 that weighed 32.8-pounds,” revealed Nathan.  Before I knew it, Nathan had stopped and ran up to Gaston’s Gift Store then came back with a copy of Fishing for Trophy German Brown Trout for me.

I have to be honest here.  This is not about a DVD or book.  It’s about a VHS tape titled Fishing for Trophy German Brown Trout: Winter through Early Spring in the Heart of the Ozarks on Arkansas’ Beautiful White River by Top-Guide Productions.  I know your VHS player in buried in the closet.  Well, this is one VHS tape worth digging it out to watch.
