Bass: The Movie A Movie by Jamie Howard

    Author: Brad Wiegmann

Bass: The Movie produced by HowardfilmsThis is what it is all about… fly versus artificial, fly line against braid; the art of casting in rhythmic movements to deliver a fly gently on the surface of the water compare to power fishing with a heavy action fishing rod and high speed reel making pin-point accurate casts.  Which angler, the fly fisherman or the professional bass angler can catch more and bigger bass?  In the beginning, the premise of Bass: The Movie was to be a challenge between the two types of anglers.  In the end, it became angler versus the bass.  Who would be able to conquer the other?  Largemouth Bass had the home field advantage and utilized acrobatic jumps to dislodge any fly or soft plastic lure stuck in its mouth or dive deep in to heavy cover to escape.  The fly fishermen and the professional bass anglers used precise cast to place a fly or lure in the bass’ home, enticing, maybe aggravating them in to striking.
