A cloudy morning should have the bass biting today. Like yesterday only a few boats went up the White River arm of Beaver Lake. The majority of FLW Tour anglers heading upstream went up War Eagle river. Day two weigh-in should be interesting. There should be some changes in the top 20 anglers as a clouldy day with wind will allow anglers to catch a better stringer in the middle to dam area of the lake. Strong winds are predicted by the Weather Channel by noon through this afternoon; in fact the wind is already starting to blow. One key an early bite today may have been a shad spawning pattern.
