For Rochelle Barcenilla of Waipahu, Hawaii, it’s an opportunity of a life time.  You see, Barcenilla, is the winner of the Early Times Kentucky Whiskey “Reel in a Million” fishing contest.  For one day on Lake Norman in North Carolina, Barcenilla will be casting for a tagged bass worth one million dollars.  One day, one cast could change Barcenilla life forever.

If having a chance to fish for the million dollars tagged bass is not exciting enough, Early Times Kentucky Whiskey (www.earlytimes.com) also tagged twenty-four other bass that if Barcenilla catches could win her anything from a Triton bass boat, gift card, or fishing gear.kevin on the boat

Do you think she is excited? How about Early Times Kentucky Whiskey throwing in a ringer. That’s right; Early Times Kentucky Whiskey has brought in ten time Bassmaster Classic qualifier, two time Bassmaster tournament winner with over 28 top ten finishes, Elite Series Professional Angler Kevin Wirth from Crestwood, Kentucky, to be her personal instructor, guide, and fishing partner for the day.  Get this, all prizes associated with a tagged fish that Wirth catches goes to Barcenilla.

The “Big Cash Bass” will be worth $50,000 on day two, while the other 24 tagged fish will be worth their original prizes including a Triton bass boat, gift cards and fishing gear. These tagged fish will only be of value to registered anglers on Sunday, June 28. Along with the chance to fish with Wirth for the tagged bass, Barcenilla will receive a custom fishing rod and reel along with a tackle box from Early Times Kentucky Whiskey for her day on the lake. Her and her husband will be provided with travel and accommodations to Lake Norman.

Anglers interested in participating in the Sunday portion of the “Reel in a Million” contest can call 1-800-634-6598 to register. There is a registration fee of $35 to enter the Sunday portion of the contest, $30 of which will be donated to charity and the remaining $5 covering the launch fee at Blythe Landing. All anglers must be 21 years of age or older.
