Year round guided fishing trips

$50 for each additional person. Multiple boats are available for larger groups (more than four people). Please give two weeks advanced notice to make arrangements for large parties.
$50 deposit required, 100% refund for trips canceled 10 or more days in advance.
Your guide will furnish:
- Boat and motor
- Gas and oil
- All bait and tackle
- Life jackets
You will need:
- Warm clothes-dress in layers so you can shed clothing as the day warms.
- Rain gear
- Food and drink
(Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on Beaver Lake)
*Directions to SWEPCO Lake:
Follow Arkansas Hwy 12 west from Gentry for 2 miles to Cripps road. Turn south, go 3 miles on Cripps road, the parking lot and boat ramp will be on your left.
Overview:
SWEPCO Lake is a 500 acre reservoir which serves as a cooling pool for AEP Southwestern Electric Power Company. The reservoir water is used to cool the coal fired power plant. The water discharged back into the reservoir is usually around mid 90’s to 100 degrees. The warm water and having Florida a strained stocked bass makes for excellent angling.
